Bought a new Dewalt Shpp vac 32 qtts 9 gal.
Graet machine and very quiet. I have a number of jet machines. couldn’t ind an adapter to step down to fit the vacuum. I called Jet, Dewalt, went to wood crafter, Amazon, and google to no avail. I called Dewalt again and insisted they had to have a solution. This time they sent me to Alton Industries, their parent company. They had toe correct step-down part. Problem solved
Alton is a good company. They had the hard to find replacement parts I needed and packed and shipped them relatively quickly.
I recommend them to others, I will utilize their services again.
This hose is a game changer. I have a great Dewalt vacuum, but I just wanted a launder hose and this one is perfect.
Great product
One would think that DeWalt would have made this item to work with the 1 7/8" vacuum hose for their vacuum cleaner, but they do not. I am glad that Alton saw a need and came up with a good solution. There is no clean way to connect the hoses, but this device did the trick. Be advised that the shipping costs as much as the item.

It was battery operated only without an AC adapter. Unwilling to buy a new and different battery and charger, I was happy to learn of your adapter availability. In the process of making a permanent mount on the fan so it will be easier to carry from point to point. Thank you.
