I got the little cooler to use in my Acty Honda truck without A/C. It can cool the inside down from 105 degrees to 84 degrees sitting in the sun. What is realy nice about this unit is you can leave it running when you get out of the vehicle and it keep the truck cool. My 8 amp. battery last about two hours on high, Not much difference between High and Low fan speed. I use one 8" X 12"X 4" plastic container I fill wit water to make a nice block of solid ice. Along with that I use the ice pack container supplied with the unit. The air on a 100 + degree day is around 57 degrees coming out of the unit. The combination of ice I use last about 7 hours but is still cool after 8 hours. My little Japanese truck is only about 80 cubic feet in the cab, so if your is larger (like most trucks) it will only cool the person it is aimed at. I would say this is a very niche item so make sure it is what you want. I ordered mine from Alton and received it in only a few days. The packing was super great with no damage despite the box showing it had been dropped several times.
Have not used this wet/dry vac filter. I purchased it ahead of my need, but I expect it will function as well as the original that came with my new 8 gal. Vac.
I purchased a Dewalt Stealthsonic Shop Vac and loved the performance and how quiet it was. My only issue was the limitation of the included 7ft hose. I went inline and found a 20 ft replacement hose from Alton Industries that fit perfectly. The hose was reasonably priced and arrived within a week. The quality is excellent, as the hose is thick and heavy duty. It’s deceiving when you first see it because it appears short, but as pull in it, it expands quickly and allows me to vacuum my entire car and garage without having to move the canister. I highly recommend this product.
I accidentally threw away my crevice tool and my brush on the wet/dry vacuum. They were stored differently than my 25 year-old craftsman model and when I found out I could purchase them through Alton I did it immediately. Thank you Alton company.
I accidentally threw away two of the attachments and found out how to purchase through Alton website and everything is back to normal
