Universal™ 12' Hose for 1-7/8" Diameter with Adapter
Its nice to have a vac hose with some length to it as the standard 7’ hoses are near useless. I just wish it had the lock on it to keep it in the vac.
It wasn't the right size but I made it work, because I love how long and big around it is.
I recently acquired a 4 gal. (9A) DeWalt vacuum and decided to make the 10 gal. (10A) stationary at the bench. The Universal 12" hose reaches everywhere I need and fits with all my original DeWalt accessories perfectly. There is no clip on the motor side but the hose fits quite snug with a slight twist while inserting. It has not come loose with suck or blow. This 1 7/8" design size does have issues fitting into the myriad of DeWalt exhaust orifices but this is hardly a problem of the well made hose. I have purchased different silicone inter-cooler reducers for the various exhaust ports to allow this hose to snugly slide into place regardless if the machine is a table saw or palm sander.
A good purchase at a reasonable price.
