Alton is proud to announce its partnership with Johor Motorsports Racing (JMR) for the 2025 racing season. This collaboration, unveiled during pre-season testing at Sepang International Circuit, strengthens Alton’s commitment to innovation and high-performance industries.
Expanding Presence in Motorsports and Malaysia
As part of the partnership, Alton’s branding will be featured on JMR’s Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R race cars, team garage, and digital media, amplifying its presence in motorsports. The announcement comes as Alton expands into Malaysia with a new manufacturing and R&D facility opening in Johor Bahru later this year.

Prince Jefri Ibrahim, JMR’s Principal Driver and President, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting Alton’s investment in Johor Bahru and commitment to developing local talent. Alton’s Executive VP of Sales & Marketing and General Manager for Americas, Michael Roach, echoed this enthusiasm, emphasizing the company’s dedication to growth in the region.
Official Season Launch Event on April 7
JMR will unveil its 2025 livery, driver lineup, and season calendar at the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House in Johor Bahru. Fans can look forward to an action-packed season ahead with Alton and JMR driving forward together!
